The Johannes SPRINZ company delivered 1.5 tonnes of glass per day with its first lorry, an Opel-Blitz, as long ago as 1948. About 90 tonnes of glass are processed into shower enclosures, glass doors, partition wall systems, facades or other special, high-quality glass products every day now. SPRINZ is one of the leading glass processors in Germany. The company was established in 1886 and the fourth generation of the family is in the meantime working and living with glass, so that SPRINZ succeeds in combining experience with innovation and high-tech with craftsmanship.
This philosophy is implemented today by about 380 employees at the companys plants in Grünkraut near Ravensburg, where the corporate headquarters is. The Made in Germany concept is put into practice from the original idea to development and production in the different areas of operation: sanitaryware, component trading, interior and exterior design, building glass/insulating glass, glass kitchen environment and the glass world showroom. This guarantees the customer consistently high quality, flexibility, unmistakeable and innovative products, beautiful design, inspiring solutions, exact processing, customised special solutions and fast, reliable service.
SPRINZ manufactures toughened safety glass, laminated glass and insulating glass and finishes this glass with motifs, patterns or slip-resistant and water-repellent surfaces. One of the specialities is high-quality ceramic screen printing of glass, with which lavish colours and motifs are produced. SPRINZ is the only company in Germany that carries out four-colour ceramic screen printing of glass in photo quality.
The glass products are used in interior and exterior design. SPRINZ supplies an extensive range of products for sanitary applications, for example: glass showers, washbasins, mirrors, radiators covers and partition wall systems. The focus is on frameless glass showers with fittings that are flush with the surface of the glass. SPRINZ included fittings for shower enclosures that are flush with the surface on the inside in its range back in 1997. This fitting technology, which guarantees quick and simple cleaning, has developed into the standard in recent years.
Design and innovations are the outstanding features of all the glass products. iF Design Award, Plus X Award, Design Plus Prize and nomination for the German Design Prize are some of the honours SPRINZ has received in the past few years.
The company has deep roots in the region and sells its branded products all over Germany via respected specialised dealers. SPRINZ has an international focus at the same time.
SPRINZ has created a special name for itself with the GLASS WORLD showroom. It is a practical example of different glass applications and is at the same time a centre for innovations and seminars.
