For example, you can order the wall glazing adapted to your individual bathroom situation: holes for water connections are simply cut out where they are needed. With decors using the UV digital printing process, you get brilliant motifs of the highest quality on your glass wall. The print itself is applied behind the glass element, protecting it from abrasion. The UV-resistant colors are lightfast and will keep the glass splashback shining for years.

Easy-care wall glazing with an attractive look
The watertight walls from SPRINZ also impress with their easy-care properties. Thanks to the even and seamless surface, a glass splash guard or a glass shower splashback offers less surface area for dirt and mold to accumulate.
Finished with SpriClean®, water simply rolls off, reducing limescale residue. Thanks to their smooth surface, the flat shower splashbacks are also easier to clean than a tiled wall, for example. Warm water, a little washing-up liquid and a clean, soft cotton cloth clean the wall cladding hygienically and conveniently.
Recyclable glass material
The glass material used is a natural raw material that can be recycled without additives. We use solvent-free, environmentally friendly paints for the printing behind the glass. The product therefore makes a valuable contribution to sustainability.
Installation on walls with plaster or tiles
Renovation made easy!
With glass elements from SPRINZ, you can design large-format glass walls without joints. These smooth glass shower splashbacks are ideal for your seamless bathroom. The glass splashbacks from SPRINZ can be installed both on the sealing coat of plaster and on tiles. This means that existing surfaces can be modernized quickly and easily during a renovation. The wall structure is the basis for further work. Our systems are a perfect match for walls that have been prepared in accordance with DIN 18534.
Waterproofing in bathrooms and kitchens in accordance with DIN 18534
Since July 2017, DIN 18534 has regulated indoor waterproofing, including in bathrooms, shower facilities and floor surfaces with drainage. It specifies the requirements for the planning, execution and maintenance of waterproofing for floor and wall surfaces against water with an accumulation height of 100 mm (DIN 18534-1). It applies to building materials to be applied in sheet form (DIN 18534-2) and in liquid form (DIN 18534-3). The areas behind or under a tub must be protected against the effects of moisture: either by means of tub edge sealing tapes or frames. Or by continuing the surface waterproofing layer under and behind the bath; if necessary with underfloor drainage. Silicone joints are no longer sufficient as the sole waterproofing. The detailed regulations of DIN 18534 are binding for all trades and make planners, tilers and installers jointly responsible. As a system provider, we would like to point out that SPRINZ wall cladding elements in wet areas may generally only be installed on floor or wall substrates that have been prepared in accordance with the standard specifications of DIN 18534. Therefore, for example, seal areas behind or under the shower or bathtub professionally in accordance with DIN 18534. Warranty and guarantee claims against SPRINZ are expressly excluded for improper installation of our products or installation that deviates in any other way from the standard requirements of DIN 18534.

In fact, glass is very suitable for use in wet areas. The material is robust, easy to clean and elegant. Glass wall panels are also more practical than tiles: Thanks to their large dimensions, they can be applied to the wall almost seamlessly. This creates large-scale murals without interruption, which are also easy to clean thanks to their smooth surface.
We offer various solutions for fixing the wall glazing systems to the wall.
In addition to our standard fixing system and our magnetic system, there is also the option of gluing the glass directly to old tiles.
However, as large-format glass is a heavy building material, we recommend using a fixing system.
