Overview of printing processes
Serial printing, individual glass elements, exposed to the weather and moisture - Sprinz uses the right printing process for every requirement. SpriColor UV digital printing offers brilliant and vibrant images that are printed on the back of glass, for example on wall glazing. Ceramic screen and digital printing is particularly UV-resistant and robust. Which process is most suitable depends on the areas of application, the respective print run and the desired colors and motifs. The world of motifs will guide you through the possibilities. We will be happy to advise you personally on individual motif prints.
SpriColor Ceramic screen printing
In screen printing, the ceramic color is printed onto the glass through a fine screen. A wide range of RAL colors are available, which can be applied to the entire surface of the glass in one or two colors. Baked into the glass at high temperatures, they are robust, easy to clean and UV-resistant.

SpriColor Ceramic digital printing
The digital printing process transfers the printed image directly from the computer to the printing machine. The color is printed onto the glass surface using the digital printer. In contrast to the ceramic screen printing process, the digital printing process does not require a screen. The process applies up to five different colors (red, green, blue, yellow and black) simultaneously and enables a finer surface with a noticeably subtle texture. The color impression is almost identical from both sides.

Motif from photo database
Couldn't find a suitable motif for your product in the image gallery? You can also use photo databases to select a motif for the UV digital printing process. When making your selection, please ensure that the image format matches the format of the product.
A panoramic image is ideal for an elongated and narrow glass surface, but is unsuitable for square or portrait printing for kitchen fronts, for example. Also, not every decor can be enlarged to any size.
How to select an image from a photo database:
- Call up one of the well-known image databases in your web browser.
- Search for your desired motif.
- Make sure that the image is in the correct format (portrait format for narrow walls, landscape format for larger and elongated glass surfaces).
- Select your image and change the dimensions from pixels to cm.
- Take the largest dimensions and multiply them by 3 to get the maximum print size of your image.
- Make sure that the resolution is at least 100 dpi.
- Send us the image and we will be happy to check for you whether it is suitable for printing.
