Laminated safety glass (LSG) offers additional sound insulation and even more safety as a glass door in front of a staircase, for example. This means that rooms that need to offer additional security or child-friendly rooms can also be fitted with glass doors
VSG consists of two individual safety glass panes that are laminated together with a tear-resistant film made of high polymer. If a glass door breaks, the entire glass surface sticks to the special film in small pieces. This reduces the risk of cuts or puncture injuries when the panes break and allows the laminated safety glass door to retain its residual load-bearing capacity afterwards.
