A measurement is the measurement and recording of a room in order to adapt the product precisely to your needs.

ESG is a single-pane safety glass that builds up a strong internal tension through heat treatment. This gives it increased impact and shock resistance as well as increased flexural strength. If the pane breaks, the entire pane disintegrates into a network of fragments, most of which are blunt-edged and loosely connected to each other.

VSG, or laminated safety glass, consists of at least two panes of glass that are permanently bonded by means of a tough, elastic and tear-resistant PVB film (polyvinyl butyral film) or EVA film (ethylene vinyl acetate film). In the event of breakage, the fragments adhere to the film and reduce the risk of injury.

RAL colors are standardized colors to obtain color-fast prints. To select the right color, there are color fans with a corresponding number that is assigned to a specific color.

With ceramic screen printing, the ceramic color is printed onto the glass through a fine screen. A wide range of RAL colors are available, which can be applied to the entire surface of the glass in one or two colors.
Baked into the glass at high temperatures, they are robust, easy to clean and UV-resistant.

In the ceramic digital printing process, the printed image is transferred directly from the computer to the printing machine and onto the glass. The process applies up to five different colors (red, green, blue, yellow and black) simultaneously and enables a finer surface with a noticeably subtle texture. The color impression is almost identical from both sides.

With UV digital printing, the printed image is printed onto the glass surface in the same way as with ceramic digital printing. The slightly satin appearance of the dried ink ensures brilliant colors. UV curing after printing increases the strength of the print.

Find out more about the different printing processes. We will be happy to advise you on which print is best suited to your product.

The heat soak test is a hot storage test for toughened safety glass (TSG). To avoid spontaneous breakage, it is advisable to carry out this test. The toughened glass is heated to 280°C and the temperature is maintained in the heat-soak oven for at least 4 hours.

If your shower enclosure is suitable for flush-to-floor installation, the shower enclosure can be installed on a tiled shower area without a shower tray.

If you have high "watertightness" requirements, you should take this into account when choosing your shower enclosure.

Our showers meet the technical requirements for splash-proofing set out in DIN EN 14428. For the standardized watertightness test, the leakage of small amounts of water into the outside area of the shower, i.e. a few drops, is permissible. Depending on the profile geometry, shape of the shower tray, glass construction, installation situation and number and type of sealing profiles, more or less water will escape from the shower area. No shower is therefore 100% splash-proof! In principle, framed and partially framed showers have a higher level of splash water protection than frameless showers. To counteract this, SPRINZ also offers frameless showers with pendulum fittings and a raise/lower mechanism. When cleaning your showers, we also recommend always rinsing the glass from top to bottom and fitting existing profile strips during installation or not removing them afterwards.

This depends on your use and care. We only use high-quality materials for our products.
However, plastic sealing profiles, water-repellent strips and other components are subject to an ageing process. Please always replace these wearing parts when they no longer fulfill their function adequately.
Repairs due to wear and tear are not covered by the guarantee.

You can find some tips on caring for your shower in our care tips for glass showers.

Silicone is used for proper sealing and for the correct operation of your shower enclosure. After applying the silicone, the shower enclosure must not be used for 24 hours to allow the silicone to cure properly.
