Glass staircases and balcony glazing are becoming increasingly popular in architecture. Transparent and filigree safety glass makes the balcony appear larger and gives it a sense of lightness.

The glazing is suitable for new builds or renovations. The glass elements as balcony cladding and stairs are made to measure; either mounted on the floor or at the front. Approvals and component tests are available for the various designs.

You can design the SPRINZ balustrade glazing with clear glass, matt printed glass or highly opaque color. The fired ceramic colors are lightfast and UV-resistant.

Together with aluminum profiles and fittings, you can create a balcony railing that is unaffected by sun, rain and environmental influences. The best thing about it: you never have to paint again, saving you time and money.

Sekurita - Clamped spandrel glazing

Balcony cladding made of glass must meet high fall protection requirements. This is precisely the aim of all building authority test certificates. Our Sekurita balcony balustrade system clamps the glass railing with just a floor profile. This means that no posts are required between the individual panes and frameless balcony glazing can be realized. The handrail is placed directly on the upper edge of the glass.

Our system offers all the necessary safety features with a general building inspectorate test certificate and the necessary static wind load calculations. The simple installation system saves costs and allows individual panes to be replaced at a later date. Particular emphasis is placed on the balcony glass. A tested laminated safety glass (LSG) at least 16 mm thick is used here. Due to the weight of the glass, we recommend a maximum width of 2,500 mm per individual glass element. This system is also available as a balustrade for an interior gallery.

Infinity - Infill parapet glazing

A balcony or stair railing protects against falling and is an attractive eye-catcher. The Infinity system consists of posts with a handrail and infill glazing made of 12 mm thick laminated safety glass. Two panes are laminated together with a tear-resistant film to ensure safety from falls.

The glass is clamped to the side of the posts during installation. The colored print is located between the two panes in the permanently protected area. We recommend selecting the height of the glass elements so that the printed glass extends over the entire height of the base plate of your balcony. In this way, the frequently soiled front side of the floor slab of your house remains invisible. The fittings are made of maintenance-free solid aluminum with an EV1 surface finish.
